This one was a full exterior repaint on the Ace Hardware building right in the heart of Downtown Romeo. It's a busy, well-known building with a lot of eyes on it every single day - so doing it right wasn't optional. That kind of visibility means every line, every color transition, and every surface has to be on point.

Here's what we were working with - a large commercial structure with multiple surface types, including horizontal lap siding, block walls, a rounded metal roof section, and accent trim running the full perimeter. Each of those surfaces takes a different approach. You can't just roll paint on all of them the same way and call it a day. Prep matters, product selection matters, and so does understanding how everything ties together visually.

The color scheme - cream siding, bold red accents, and deep black trim - had to stay consistent all the way around the building. That means the front, both side walls, and the back alley-facing wall all got the same level of attention. No cutting corners on the sides just because foot traffic is lighter. A building like this wraps around a full block, and every angle matters.

Commercial exterior painting is one of those things that businesses put off longer than they should. Faded paint and worn surfaces signal neglect - even if everything inside is running great. A clean, sharp exterior tells customers you take your business seriously. For a local fixture like this one in Romeo, that first impression carries real weight.

We're proud of how this one came out, and even more proud to be doing this kind of work right here in our own community. Supporting local businesses and helping them put their best face forward - that's what this work is really about.
